a parade of ATC's....

I got bored one night and decided to make some of my tie-dyed baby wipes and then of course had to create something with them. lol So, I ended up making a bunch of ATC's using the baby wipes as the base layer of each card.  I really had  a lot of fun making them.  There's no theme or anything like that, just me creating whatever popped into my mind that day.  I did challenge myself to try to use products that I have had for ages, but never stamps, Radient Pearls, etc.

Here is a picture of some of the tie-dyed baby wipes I made to send off for RAK's.  You can watch me make some here.  I use Tumble Dyes because they are designed to be used on fabric and once they are dry, they do not bleed when you get them wet.  So, they are great to put glue on, color sprays, etc and you don't have to worry about the color bleeding.

And here are the ATC's the I created using tie-dyed baby wipes as the main background:

Thanks for visiting and seeing what I've been creating and I hope you're inspired to create a little art, too!  ATC's have been perfect for me right now, because my free time is few and far between with two little ones running around.  I created one ATC a day and it was just enough to keep my Muse (and me!) happy!

Take care and God Bless,

voices carry - an art journal page

Hi everyone!  I'm still here working out some of the ickies that have been locked away.....sorry for the not so happy journal pages. lol  But that's the great thing about your journal right and what it's for, right?

I was driving home from dropping my little one off at pre-kindergarten and this song came on the radio.  I am a MAJOR 80's junkie and still quite stuck there I'm afraid. lol  As soon as I heard this verse, I knew that I had to journal it and thank goodness my little guy went down for a nap so that I was able to do this page not long after hearing this song.

You can watch me create this page here.....

The mesh is actually self-adhesive dry wall tape....

I stamped the letters on the corrugated packaging that was in a box of taco shells. lol

Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you are all having a wonderful and creative week!
God Bless!
