another set of ICAD cards to share!

I haven't taken photos of the envelope journal that I shared on my YouTube channel yesterday and I really ened to get that done for you all!  Sorry about that, I was going to do it last night and then my husband and I had to watch the next episode of Warehouse 13. lol  Don't you just love Netflix???

I did get another set of cards done yesterday and a video is up on how I created them.  So be sure to check that out too here.  I'm feeling pretty achy today and battling my allergies and just not up to adding all of the subtitles for the products that I used on these cards, so if you have any questions, please ask and I'll let you know.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

still catching up with those ICAD's!

Okay, well, I think if I counted right, I might be caught up after my marathon creative session that I had yesterday.  I did 5 cards yesterday in one sitting and I'm really happy to share them with you today!

Yep, there's a video and you can see it here.... :-)

And an extra one that I worked on while my camera batter way changing...it's a little wacky. lol

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope that you're able to get some creative time in each day! It sure does make my whole world much more happen when I do....even if it's just for a few minutes. ;-)

Take care,
Dianne

Catching up with my ICAD's :-)

Hello everyone!  It's been a stormy morning today and I've got so many things that I need to get caught up on.  I pinched a major nerve in my shoulder before Memorial Day and then pinched it again a week or so later and it's really knocked me off my feet!  So, needless to say, there is A LOT around here that I've let slip.....like laundry...ugh...and most of all my ICAD's.  ;-)

I'm feeling much better, but still struggle with sitting at my computer typing, so that's put a halt on my updates here.  But, I was finally able to put my art area back together (it was totally moved around by the electric guy who had to put wiring down in our basement) and I have been cranking out my cards fast these past few days.  I'm almost caught up!  Now, I know that there is no being behind with this project and supposed to be no stress, etc....but I really want to have a card for each day.  And, I really LOVE making them, so I'm having lots of fun making several cards in one sitting.  I think I have 4 to go and I will be "caught up" and I'm hoping to get those done today.

I am also working on a video share to answer a few questions that I have been asked about my ICAD's, mainly, where I get my inspiration.  So be on a look out for that! :-)  I was also going to talk about what I'm doing with my cards, another question that I get a lot, but I forgot. duh.  So, I hope to sit down soon and do a quick video on that.

So, here is a peek of what I've been doing all weekend!  I did record videos of my making most of these cards and you can find them on my YouTube page here.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope that you have a wonderful week!

Summertime You Tube Video Hop!

Yeah, it's finally here!  I can share with you my project that I made for the Summer themed You Tube Video Hop!

First of all, be sure to visit all of these amazing artists pages, so that you can see their creations:
I was flipping through some of my issues of Somerset Magazines and I ran across an article where they were using juice boxes to create art on. Well, we go through LOTS of OJ in my house, so I didn't have to wait long before I had an empty juice carton to play with. I have lots of them now and I think that I might use them to make some ATC's on next. All that you have to do is cut them into pieces and then peel off the top layer, which is like a plastic film. Then you have a great surface for creating art on! I put gesso on mine first, so that they would be ready for whatever medium I put on them. :-)

Thanks so much for playing along with us on our Video Hop and don't forget to go watch everyone's videos!!! They are all so talented and are sharing some amazing projects!
