ICAD stands for "Index Card a Day" and you can learn all about it by visiting Daisy Yellow at: http://daisyyellow.squarespace.com/icad/
For Day 2's card, I used some of the circles that were left over from using a hole punch. I made some dividers and money envelopes for my planner the other day from patterned paper and washi tape. They were just so pretty and I couldn't get myself to throw them away. They have been sitting in a little pile on my desk for days now just waiting for me. Well, as soon as ICAD started up, I knew that I had to put them on one of my cards! So, today was the day! I also decided to use some Golden Clear Glass Bead Gel. A good friend of mine gave a jar of it, because she really didn't like working with it. I hadn't ever used it before, so I was really curious to see what I thought. I actually like it a lot! I know this is my first time using it, but I can't wait to use it on some other projects in the future. I also used a bit of a torn security envelope that I found sitting on top of my desk. I have quite a stash of security envelopes, because they have such great patterns on the inside and are fun to incorporate into my collages.
Here's todays card and you can also visit my You Tube site to watch me create this card.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you decide to play along!
