icad - day 16 - step by step art

I wasn't able to video making todays card, but I did snap some pictures along the way to share with you.  I was cleaning things up in my closet the other day and I found this fabric clothing tag that I'd stashed away to use in a project.  So, there's no better time than the present, right? lol  I found a few other things to go along with it and here's what I came up with....

Mod Podge on book paper that I've been spraying onto from other projects and the fabric, clothing tag....

two colors of brown, acrylic paint with a stencil....

added some red color spray because the brown didn't work as well as I wanted it to....

then added some white color spray because things were getting too dark for me....

found this paper w/ the quote on it that worked perfect with the tricycle stamp....

still too dark for me, so I added some white drippage....because I love drippage lol....went around the edges w/ black ink....

Mod Podge on the paper elements and added some white acrylic paint w/ some bubble wrap....

and here's the finished card:

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope that you're enjoying icad 2012 as much as I am!  I really need to sit down one night and visit everyone's blogs, flickr, etc...I know that I am missing out on loads of amazing art work that everyone else is doing.  Oh, and be sure to visit Daisy Yellow to learn all about icad2!

Take care and God Bless!
